Michael Jaeger has worked as a director on Salomon Smith Barney’s Commercial Mortgage Desk and founded the firm’s principal mortgage franchise in Asia during 1997 to 2002. Michael’s group originated highly profitable non-recourse acquisition loans totaling US$400 million and purchased distressed debt totaling US$100 million, and was awarded Japan Securitization of the Year by Euroweek Magazine for
the J-CMBS-1 deal. From 1994 to 1997, Michael was an analyst and AVP in the real estate department for JP Morgan Investment Management, where he acted on over $250 million in acquisitions of institutional-grade office, industrial, and apartment properties for the group’s fund or separate accounts. Michael received an M.S. in Real Estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994, where he was awarded PREA and CRE scholarships. He received an MBA from Cornell University in 1993. In 1987 he received his B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College.
Bob McHugh has worked as a partner with McHugh Properties since 1992, where he structured many of the firm’s industrial, office, apartment and manufactured housing community investments. Bob has experience in all aspects of leasing and asset management. McHugh Properties, founded in 1965, owned over forty properties in the western United States, and acted as developer on apartment projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the years, McHugh Properties has consulted on a wide range of development projects, including residential condominiums and apartments, office buildings, and single-family lot development. Prior to joining McHugh Properties, Bob was with the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company and Cost Plus Imports. Bob received a B.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987, where he was active in Varsity Rugby. Bob
was a member of the Belden Real Estate Club of San Francisco
for eight years.
